The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team dropped an 82-80 decision to the Nipissing Lakers on Saturday (Feb. 9) night on the road.

TORONTO STATS: Second-year guard Evan Shadkami led all scorers with 20 points and added four rebounds. Fourth-year wing Nikola Paradina chipped in with 16 points, a team-high eight rebounds and three assists.

Veteran Christopher Barrett registered 14 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals, while Daniel Johansson posted 12 points in a losing effort.

UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action on Friday (Feb. 15) night, when they host the Queen's Gaels at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Tip off is set for 8:00 p.m.
