Five players hit double digits as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team defeated the Laurentian Voyageurs 83-80 in double overtime on Friday night (Feb. 8) in Sudbury, Ont.

PLAYOFF PUSH: With the win, the Blues improve to 5-15 and sit just four points back of the Voyageurs for the sixth and final playoff spot in the OUA East division.

TORONTO STATS: Third-year forward Nada Radonjic led the Blues with her second double-double of the season, draining 16 points and adding 10 boards on the night.

Playing in only her second game of 2019 after injury, fourth-year veteran Keyira Parkes shone in Sudbury. The Scarborough, Ont., native tallied 15 points, seven of which came in double OT, four rebounds, two assists and one steal in the victory.

Sophomore Christine Jurcau recorded 13 points, including the game-tying three-pointer at the end of the first overtime, four boards, two assists and one steal, while rookie Jessica Muha added 11 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.

Veteran forward Charlotte Collyer chipped in with nine points and a team-high 12 boards in the win.
