Second-year left side hitter Evan Falardeau notched a game-high 20 kills in leading the Varsity Blues men's volleyball team to a 3-1 (25-20, 17-25, 25-23, 25-21) victory over the No. 5 nationally-ranked Queen's Gaels on Friday night (Nov. 8) at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
With the win, the Blues remain undefeated and are 3-0 to start the season.
TORONTO STATS: Falardeau added six digs to his game-high 20 kills and points. Fifth-year veteran Chris Towe added 11 points off of 10 kills and one block, while rookie middle Jasper Neale had nine points off of six kills, two blocks and one ace.
Fourth-year setter Jordan Figueira tallied 36 assists and 15 digs, while both Daniel Tudor and Nick Trewern added 11 digs in the win.
UP NEXT: The Blues host the RMC Paladins in their sixth annual OVA (Ontario Volleyball Association) Day this Sunday, November 10 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Opening serve is set for 3 p.m.
