NO. 9 BLUES DOWN RAMS ON HOME COURT

The No. 9 nationally-ranked University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team defeated the Ryerson Rams 3-1 (26-24, 29-27, 19-25, 25-18) on Friday night (Nov. 22) at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.

With the win, the Blues improve to 6-1 and remain in first place in the OUA East division.

TORONTO STATS: Second-year left side hitter Evan Falardeau led the Blues with 17 points, all off kills, and added six digs on the night.

Fifth-year veteran Chris Towe racked up 12 points off of 10 kills, once ace and one block and had eight digs, while rookie middle Jasper Neale recorded eight points off of six kills and two blocks.

Fourth-year setter Jordan Figueira tallied 42 assists and four digs, while third-year libero Daniel Tudor had 14 digs in the win.

UP NEXT: The Blues wrap up the first half of the season this Sunday, November 24 as they travel to Guelph to take on the Gryphons. Opening serve is set for 7 p.m.
