The No. 4 University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team defeated the McMaster Marauders 3-2 (25-16, 20-25, 20-25, 25-20, 15-13) on Saturday night (Nov. 16) in Hamilton, Ont.

With the win, the Blues improve to 5-1 and remain in second place in the OUA East division.

TORONTO STATS: Fifth-year right side hitter Alina Dormann led all players with 19 points off of a game-high 12 kills, four aces and three blocks, while also adding eight digs on the night.

Veteran middles Jenna Woock and Anna Licht each recorded 14 points. Woock notched 11 kills and three aces, while Licht had seven kills, a career-high six aces and one block. Veteran left side hitter Brianna Patrick added seven points and 11 digs.

Sophomore setter Hayley Goodwin tallied 21 assists and five digs, while rookie setter Lidya Canturk had 14 assists and six digs in the win.

UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action tomorrow (Nov. 17) as they travel to St. Catharines, Ont., to take on the Brock Badgers. Opening serve is set for 2 p.m.
