The No. 4 University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team defeated the No. 6 Brock Badgers 3-2 (25-16, 19-25, 25-18, 24-26, 15-13) on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 17) in St. Catherines, Ont.
The win gives Toronto their sixth consecutive victory, as well as Brock's first defeat of the season.
TORONTO STATS:Â Fifth-year right side hitter Alina Dormann led the team in kills, recording 11 during the game. Jenna Woock was also in double digits, scoring 10 points off kills. Woock was also a force to be reckoned with defensively, as she finished the game with five blocks.
Woock and Caleigh Cruickshank recorded four aces each to lead the team in that category. Sophomore setter Hayley Goodwin notched up a season-high 41 assists, beating her previous best which she set in Toronto's last game against McMaster.

Defensively, Asli Ersozoglu led the team with 14 digs during the game. Goodwin and Cruickshank also impressed with seven digs each.
UP NEXT:Â The Blues are back at home next Friday (Nov. 22), as they take on the Ryerson Rams for the second time this season. Opening serve is set for 6 p.m.
