Second-year guard Ellen Ougrinov recorded a season-high 21 points but the Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell 78-56 to the McMaster Marauders on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 16) in Hamilton.

TORONTO STATS: Ougrinov's 21 points saw her go 10-for-21 from the field and 3-for-3 from the free throw line, while adding seven rebounds, two assists and one steal on the day.

Fourth year forward Sarah Bennett recorded 17 points, seven rebounds and a steal, while rookie standout Nakeisha Ekwandja found the basket four times for seven points, adding a rebound and an assist on the day. Third-year guard Samantha Robertson added six points, three steals and two assists in the loss and fellow third year, Christine Jurcau notched five points and four boards.

UP NEXT: The Blues head to Kingston, Ont., to take on the Queen's Gaels next Friday (Nov. 22). Tip off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
