Fifth-year left side hitter Caleigh Cruickshank led all players with 11.5 points as the No. 5 Varsity Blues women's volleyball team defeated the Trent Excalibur 3-0 (25-8, 25-11, 25-8) on Friday night (Nov. 1) in Peterborough, Ont.

TORONTO STATS: Cruickshank racked up five kills, six aces and an assisted block, while also adding a team-high eight digs in the win.

Fifth-year right side hitter Alina Dormann had nine points off of seven kills, one ace and one block, while Lidya Canturk tallied 21 assists on the night.

UP NEXT: The Blues are back in action next Friday, November 8 when they host the Queen's Gaels at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Opening serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
