The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team defeated the Laurentian Voyageurs 3-1 on Saturday afternoon (Oct 5) at Laurentian University.
HOW IT HAPPENED:Â A hard fought, back and forth first half saw a combined fifteen shots and a Voyageurs goal (14').
However, it would be all Blues in the second half. Atchu Sivananthan and Kenny Lioutas would combine for the Blues first of the afternoon (46'). Nicholas Osorio would add to the Blues scoring (66') before Nikola Stakic would seal the deal from the penalty spot in the final minutes (88').
The Blues attack dominated the Voyageurs forcing goalkeeper Adam Scanlon to make seven saves in the contest.
Toronto fourth-year goalkeeper Stefan Dusciuc made four saves.
