BLUES FALL TO PALADINS

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's rugby team dropped a 45-15 decision to the RMC Paladins in OUA consolation quarter-final action Saturday afternoon (Oct. 26) in Kingston, Ont.

HOW IT HAPPENED: RMC got out to a 7-0 lead but Tudor Chirilla got the Blues on the board with a penalty goal and Matthew Olsen put Toronto ahead with a try to make it 8-3. The Paladins then scored four unanswered tries to take a 33-8 lead at halftime.

RMC scored twice more before Faiyaz Lokhandwala added another try for the Blues. Chirilla successfully converted.

UP NEXT: The Blues will travel to London, Ont., to take on the Western Mustangs in the 9th/10th place game next weekend. Game time TBD.
