The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to the Carleton Ravens on Sunday, October 20 in Ottawa.
With the loss, the Blues wrap up the regular season in fourth place in the OUA East division with a 7-4-3 record.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Ravens scored early as Cheyenne Bent opened the scoring in the sixth minute. Carleton extended their lead to two as Youma Konate found the back of the net in the 17th minute.
Second-year goalie Maddy Nardin made seven saves in the loss.Â
UP NEXT: The fourth-seeded Blues will host the fifth-seeded Ontario Tech Ridgebacks in OUA playoff action on Wednesday night (Oct. 23) at Varsity Stadium. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
