The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team tied the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks 2-2 on Sunday night (Oct. 20) in Oshawa, Ont.
With the draw, the Blues end the season with a 9-2-3 record in third place in the OUA East division.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Ontario Tech's Fadi Salback scored in the 33rd minute to put the home team up at the half. Nicola Russo tied it up for the Blues, finding the back of the net in the 63rd minute.
Veteran defender Kenny Lioutas put the Blues ahead in the 69th minute, but Salback would spoil the comeback as he potted his second goal of the night in the 82nd minute.
Blues netminder Stefan Dusciuc made six saves in the draw.
UP NEXT: The third seeded Blues will host the sixth-seeded Nipissing Lakers this Wednesday, October 23 at Varsity Stadium. Game time is set for 5 p.m.
