The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team defeated the RMC Paladins 3-0 on Saturday, October 12 at Varsity Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED:Â A lopsided first half saw the Blues open their account with Maddy McKay's penalty shot in the 36
th minute. By halftime, the Blues recorded eight shots on goal and faced zero.
The second half saw more of the same as the Blues netted two early thanks to Siena Porth (60') and Jenny Wolever (71'). Wolever looked instrumental recording an assist and three shots on goal in addition to her second half strike. The Blues defence held strong to keep the Paladins shotless at the final whistle.
Levanta Staggolis made 0 saves in the win.
UP NEXT:Â The Blues are back in action Sunday, October 13 as take on the Carleton Ravens in their final home game of the season. The match is set for 1 p.m.
