The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team dropped a 75-63 decision to the U SPORTS defending national champion Carleton Ravens on Sunday afternoon (Jan. 6) at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
TORONTO STATS: Second-year guard Christine Jurcau notched a career-high 17 points, going 6-for-11 from the floor and 3-for-6 from beyond the arc, while adding two rebounds and two assists on the day.
Third-year forward Nada Radonjic tallied 13 points and five boards, while sophomore Samantha Roberston added 10 points, three rebounds and three assists. Rookie forward Hayley Neault recorded eight points in the loss.
UP NEXT: The Blues head to York University next Friday, January 11 to take on the Lions. Tip off is set for 6 p.m.
