The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team dropped a 79-54 decision to the No. 6 nationally ranked Ottawa Gee-Gees on Saturday night (Jan. 26).
TORONTO STATS: Second-year guard Samantha Robertson notched a team- and career-high 18 points. The Toronto native went 5-for-9 from the floor and 4-for-7 from beyond the arc on the night.
Third-year forward Nada Radonjic added 11 points, four boards, three steals and one assist, while Kirsten MacLeod and Christina Jurcau recorded eight and nine points, respectively, in the loss.
UP NEXT: The Blues return home next Friday, February 1 as they host the Ryerson Rams in the Downtown Showdown, presented by Duke of York and U of T's annual Shoot for the Cure game. Tip off is set for 6 p.m., at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
