Four players hit double digits as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's basketball team defeated the Nipissing Lakers 81-75 on Friday, January 18 at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
 
TORONTO STATS: Rookie guard Inaki Alvarez led all players with 19 points, while adding four steals, three rebounds and one assist on the night.
 
Veteran Chris Barrett was clutch down the stretch, ending the night with 17 points, eight of which came in the fourth quarter. Barrett added seven assists, three boards and two steals in the win.
 
Nikola Paradina tallied 16 points, while Daniel Johansson had 15 points and six rebounds in the victory.
 
UP NEXT: The Blues host the Laurentian Voyageurs tomorrow night (Jan. 19) at Goldring Centre. Tip off is set for 8 p.m.
