The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team defeated the RMC Paladins 1-0 on Saturday, September 29 at Varsity Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED: Fourth-year striker Natasha Klasios opened the scoring in the 7th minute with an indirect free kick, good for her fourth goal of the season. The Blues registered a dominant 16 shots over RMC's three in the match. Eight of those were from Klasios, while sophomores Erin Kelly and Kristin Parkes had three each. Maddy MacKay and Kelly Johnson registered one shot each. The win brings Toronto's record to 4-4-2 on the season.
UP NEXT: The Blues travel to Kingston tomorrow (Sept. 30) to face the Queen's Gaels. The match is set to begin at 1 p.m.
