Fourth-year striker Jack Wadden led the Varsity Blues men's soccer team to a 4-0 win over the RMC Paladins on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 29) at Varsity Stadium.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Ottawa native opened the scoring, netting two back-to-back goals between the 21st and 23rd minutes. That was it for the scoreboard until the 50th minute when Anthony Sousa capitalized on a rebound to bring the score to 3-0. Wadden added his third goal on a penalty kick in the 63rd minute.
Toronto tallied 19 shots in the match, and made it easy for keeper Sebatian Sgarbossa, allowing just two shots for him to save.
UP NEXT: The Blues host the Queen's Gaels tomorrow (Sept. 30). The match is set to begin at 3:15 p.m., at Varsity Stadium.
