The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's tennis team defeated the Montreal Carabins 4-3 on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 23) at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: Samar Qaedizadeh led the Blues with a strong win in the No. 2 singles match. She won the first set easily 6-3, dropped a tiebreaker second set, followed by a comeback third set win at 7-5. Other singles wins were recorded by Alara Demirag, Milena Music and Salma Desouki
 
UP NEXT: The Blues host the York Lions next Sunday at 1:30 pm at the UTSC tennis courts.
