The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's tennis team defeated the McGill Marletts 5-2 on Saturday, September 22 at University of Toronto Scarborough Campus.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: Mara Stroe, Alara Demirag, Milena Music and Alex Boone all won their respective singles matches. Stroe battled back to win the No. 1 singles match, 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 before teaming up with Demirag to win the No. 1 doubles match. The Blues swept the doubles matches as Salma Desouki and Music won the No. 2 and Kimberly Lai and Cecelia Pye won the No. 3.                  
 
UP NEXT: The Blues will be hosting University of Montreal tomorrow (Sept. 23) at noon at the UTSC tennis courts.
