Second-year forward Louie Bieman scored the lone goal as the University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's hockey team dropped a 3-1 exhibition decision to the Concordia Stingers on Friday night (Sept. 21) in Montreal.
HOW IT HAPPENED: After a scoreless first period, Bieman got the Blues on the board with a powerplay marker four minutes into the second frame. The Stingers evened the score three minutes later and took the lead for good with a goal with 50 seconds remaining in the period. Concordia added an insurance marker midway through the third period
Second-year netminder Madeline Albert posted 29 saves in the loss.
