The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's tennis team played their second match of the season and came away with a 5-2 win over the McMaster Maruaders on Sunday, September 16.
In singles play, wins were recorded by No. 1 Mara Stroe, No. 4 Alara Demirag, No. 5 Cecelia Pye, and No. 6 Jaimi Foster. In doubles action, wins were recorded by all of the Blues women's pairs: Samantha Fraser and Salma Desouki in the No. 1 spot, Milena Music and Alex Boone in No. 2, as well as No. 3 pair Jasmine Nguyen and Kim Lai.
The Blues will be hosting two Quebec teams in McGill and Montreal next weekend. Matches will take place on Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23 beginning at noon at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus.
