The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with the Trent Excalibur on Sunday, September 16 in Peterborough, Ont.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: Rookie midfielder Krizia Tarantino opened the scoring, notching her first career goal in the Blue and White in the 27th minute. The Excalibur responded just two minutes later though with a goal from Abbey Pantusa and the match ended in the deadlock. Vanna Staggolis made five saves on the day.
 
UP NEXT: The Blues travel to Sudbury, Ont., next Saturday, September 22 to take on the Laurentian Voyageurs. Game time is set for 12 p.m.
