The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's tennis team started off their season with a 5-2 loss to the Western Mustangs on Saturday, September 15 in London, Ont.
In doubles action, veterans Mara Stroe and Samar Qaedizadeh notched the only win in the No. 1 match. Alara Demirag and Milena Music were able to defeat their opponents in the No. 3 and No. 6 singles matches, respectively.
The Blues will now take on the McMaster Marauders tomorrow (Sept. 16) at UTSC at noon.
