MEN’S TENNIS FALLS TO WESTERN

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's tennis team started off their season with a 6-1 loss to the always strong Western Mustangs on Saturday, September 15 in London, Ont.
 
Veteran Andrew Bourne-Kaponeridis provided the only singles win with a 6-1 modified singles match.  Rookies Alec Luchak and Victor Miglo had close three-set losses in the No. 5 and 6 singles matches, respectively. In doubles, the lone win was recorded by veteran Nathan Wong and rookie Eric Cherniy.
 
The Varsity Blues host the McMaster Marauders tomorrow (Sept. 15) at UTSC at noon.
