Third-year striker Jack Wadden scored for Toronto as the Varsity Blues men's soccer team played to a 1-1 tie with the McGill Redmen in the Old Four Tournament consolation match on Sunday, August 19 in Kingston, Ont.
 
Wadden found the back of the net in the 13th minute, scoring his second goal of the tournament. The Redmen evened the score in the 49th minute and the two teams were deadlocked until the final whistle.
 
Stefan Dusciuc and Sebastian Sgarbossa split duties in net, posting one and three saves, respectively.
 
The Varsity Blues kick off their regular season at home next Saturday, August 25 as they host the Trent Excalibur at Varsity Centre. Game time is set for 3:15 p.m.
