The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team fell 67-65 to the Laurier Golden Hawks on Friday night (Nov. 9).
HOW IT HAPPENED: Veteran guard Keyira Parkes led the Blues with 16 points, going 4-11 from beyond the arc on the night.
Jessica Muha put up an impressive 10 points in the first quarter to keep the Blues in the game. The freshman forward finished the game with 15 points.
Nada Radonjic was the other U of T player to record double digits, tallying 13 points while going 5-5 from the free-throw line.
Three Golden Hawks reached double digits on the night. Jill Condron led all players with 18 points, while Hunter Johns had 16 points in the win.
UP NEXT: The Blues return to action tomorrow (Nov. 10) as they remain in Waterloo, Ont., to take on the Warriors. Tip off is set for 6 p.m.
