The Varsity Blues men's water polo team finished their unbeaten season with a 9-3 win over the McMaster Marauders on Tuesday night (Nov. 20) at Varsity Pool.

Rookie Alex Geiger (Corona, Cali) led the team with three goals, followed by center defender Richard Laurie (Maple Ridge, B.C.) and captain Euan Scoffield (Ottawa, Ontario) with two goals, and finally Danilo Seskar (Princeton, N.J.) and Stefan Mitic (Toronto, Ontario) with one goal.

Andrei Velasevic (Toronto, Ontario) made key saves in the first quarter, keeping McMaster off the scoreboard and subsequently turned the game in U of T's favor when Stefan Mitic (Toronto, Ontario) scored the first goal of the game.

The Blues played solid defence, not letting in a single goal until the last quarter of the game.
