The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's volleyball team notched their third straight victory, defeating the York Lions 3-0 (25-23, 25-16, 25-12) on Sunday afternoon.

TORONTO STATS: Third-year left side hitter Brianna Patrick led all players with 16 points off of 13 kills, two aces and one block, while also adding seven digs on the day.

Fourth-year right side hitter Alina Dormann notched 15.5 points off of a game-high 14 kills, one ace and one assisted block. Fifth-year veteran Anna Feore also reached double digits with 10 points and had 10 digs as well.

Rookie setter Hayley Goodwin tallied 32 assists, while third-year libero Sophia Currier led all players with 18 digs in the win.

UP NEXT: The Blues head into the December exam break tied for first place in the OUA East division with a 7-2 record. Toronto is back in action on Saturday, January 12 as they host the Guelph Gryphons at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
