The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball overcame a two-set deficit to defeat the Nipissing Lakers 3-2 (21-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 15-13) on Friday night (Nov. 23) in North Bay, Ont.
TORONTO STATS: Rookie left side hitter Evan Falardeau led the Blues with 20 points off of 19 kills and one ace, while adding six digs on the night.
Fourth-year outside hitter Chris Towe added 13.5 points off of 10 kills, two aces and 1.5 blocks, while Alex Barnes tallied 10 points off of eight kills, one block and once ace.
Third-year setter Jordan Figueria recorded 42 assists and five digs, while sophomore libero Daniel Tudor had a game-high 13 digs in the win.
UP NEXT:Â The Blues wrap up the fall semester when they travel to York this Sunday, November 25 to take on the Lions. Opening serve is set for 3 p.m.
