The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team fell 3-2 (25-27, 25-23, 16-25, 26-24, 9-15) on Sunday afternoon (Nov. 25) at Tait Mckenzie Centre.
TORONTO STATS: Rookie left side hitter Evan Falardeau notched a team-high 16 points off of 12 kills, 2 blocks and 2 aces, while veteran Chris Towe recorded 15.5 points off of 15 kills and an assisted block.
Third-year setter Jordan Figueira tallied 40 assists, nine points, seven of which came from serving aces, and six digs in the loss.
UP NEXT: The Blues are 6-3 and in second place in the OUA East division heading into the December exam break. Toronto is back in action on Saturday, January 12 as they host the Guelph Gryphons at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport. Â
