Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's soccer team fell 3-1 in extra time to the Ryerson Rams in OUA quarter-final action on Sunday night (Oct. 28) at Downsview Park.

It marked the fifth time in the past eight postseasons that regulation time wasn't enough for Toronto and Ryerson to determine a winner.

After a scoreless first half, Ryerson's Mirza Custovic buried a Raheem Rose rebound to give the home team a 1-0 lead in the 46th minute.

Toronto responded with the equalizer 20 minutes later as Anthony Sousa headed in a nice cross from Jae Jin Lee. The two teams were deadlocked after 90 minutes as the match went into extra time.

Rams midfielder Abdalla El-Chanti scored in the 93rd minute and Ryerson added an insurance marker three minutes later as Custovic netted his second of the game.
