The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's tennis team defeated the Guelph Gryphons 6-1 on Saturday September 30 at UTSC.
Felix Fan, Sasha Obucina and Nathan Wong led the team with wins at the No. 1, 2 and 4 singles matches. All three players are still undefeated this season in singles play.
Other singles wins came from Brett Stinson in the No. 3 and rookie Marwin Shebl in the No. 6. In doubles action Toronto won all three matches. Daniel Hill had the lone loss in a close singles tie breaker.
The Blues wrap up the regular season versus Montreal tomorrow (Oct. 1) at UTSC.
