BLUES FALL TO MARTLETS

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's tennis team dropped a 4-3 decision to McGill on Sunday, September 24 at UTSC.

Rookie Samar Qaedizadeh led the Blues with a strong win at the No. 1 singles spot. Toronto was able to secure victories in all three doubles matches - Mara Stroe and Salma Dessouki at No. 1,  Cecelia Pye and Alara Demirag at No. 2 and Azel Mulagulova and Antonina Gorsheni at No. 3.

A win was also recorded in singles by another rookie Salma Dessouki.

Toronto's next match is next weekend on Saturday vs Guelph and Sunday vs Montreal at UTSC at noon.
