It's Community Football Day at Varsity Stadium as the University of Toronto hosts the Guelph Gryphons this Saturday, September 16 at 1 p.m.

The Blues welcome minor football teams, community members as well as U of T staff and faculty to their second home game of the season. It will be an afternoon full of great football, fun for the kids and great prizes to be won!
 
U of T (1-2) will be looking to bounce back after a narrow loss to the undefeated Waterloo Warriors on Saturday. The Gryphons (1-2) are coming off their first win, a lopsided 82-10 victory over the Windsor Lancers. Guelph previously fell to Ottawa and Western, both in overtime, in Weeks 1 and 2.
 
The Varsity Blues celebrated lots of firsts this past Saturday at Warrior Field.
 
Second-year quarterback Clay Sequeira notched both his first career passing and rushing touchdowns, rookie receiver Will Corby and third-year veteran Wacey Schell both caught their first U SPORTS touchdowns and fifth-year defensive back Nick Hallett recorded his first career sack. U of T will look to turn those firsts into seconds and ride that momentum into Saturday's tilt versus Guelph.
