Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (14-25, 15-25, 17-25) decision to the No. 3 nationally ranked McMaster Marauders on Saturday afternoon (Feb. 4) at Goldring Centre for High Performance Sport.
 
With the loss, the Blues drop to 4-7 but remain in fifth place in the OUA East division.
 
First-year outside hitter Alex Barnes led the Blues with six kills, while fellow rookie Nicholas Trewern had five kills on the day.
 
Rookie setter Jordan Figueira tallied 17 assists and four digs, with Alex Ferris also notching four digs in the loss.
 
Fifth-year Marauders middle Danny Demyanenko led all players with 13.5 points on 10 kills and three blocks, while Brandon Koppers had 13 points on 12 kills and one ace in the victory.
 
The Varsity Blues return to action tomorrow afternoon as they host the Brock Badgers at Goldring Centre. Opening serve is set for 12 p.m.
