BLUES FALL TO HAWKS IN OUA PLAYOFF

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's basketball team's 2016-17 season came to an end following an 86-74 OUA playoff loss to the Laurier Golden Hawks on Wednesday, February 22 in Waterloo, Ont.
 
Toronto shot 44% from the floor but struggled from the free throw line, going 9-for-21 on the night, while Laurier nailed 21-of-29 free throws on the night.
 
Fourth-year guard Rahshida Atkinson led all players with 22 points, while second-year forward Charlotte Collyer had a near double-double of 13 points and nine boards.
 
Diedre Edwards chipped in with 12 points, six boards and two assists, while second-year guard Keyira Parkes had eight points, four assists, three boards and two steals in the loss.
 
Irena Rynkiewicz led the Hawks with 19 points, six rebounds and four assists, while Kaitlyn Schenck and Nicole Morrison had 15 and 16 points, respectively, in the win.
