The University of Toronto Varsity Blue's men's lacrosse team fell 14-10 to the Brock Badgers on Friday, September 23 at Varsity Stadium.

The Badgers came out strong, getting on to the score sheet first and dominated the first half, leading 9-4 at the midway point of the game.

First-year middie Justin Morandin of Mississauga, Ont., scored a fantastic goal in the second quarter, spinning around the defender just outside the crease and finding the back of the net.

U of T stepped up their game in the third and fourth, playing at a faster pace and taking some great shots on net, but found it difficult to outscore their opponents.

Overall, the Blues gave a valiant effort at home with Jason Barnable leading the team with two goals and two assists.

AJ Masson and Morandin scored two goals each. Mitch de Snoo, Marc Santos, Ales Emerson, and Owen Farnworth all scored one goal respectively.

The Varsity Blues are back in action on Saturday, October 1 in Sudbury when they take on the Laurentian Voyageaurs. Game starts at 2 p.m.
