BLUES CONTINUE TO IMPROVE DESPITE LOSS TO MUSTANGS

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's rugby team fell 28-9 to the Western Mustangs on Saturday, September 17 at Varsity Stadium.
 
Despite the loss, the Blues have shown great improvement versus their Mustangs counterparts. In their last four meetings, the Mustangs have come out on top, scoring 80+ points in each victory.
 
Toronto trailed by a mere five points at the half, down 11-6 at the midway point of the game.
 
Third-year veteran Scott Maguire notched three penalty goals for all nine of Toronto's points.
 
The Varsity Blues return to action next Friday, September 23 as they travel to Guelph to take on the Gryphons. Game time is set for 8 p.m.
