BLUES DROP OT DECISION, GAME 3 SUNDAY

Box Score The No. 4  University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's hockey team dropped a narrow 1-0 overtime decision to the Laurier Golden Hawks in Game 2 of their OUA quarter-final series on Friday night (Feb. 26) in Waterloo, Ont.

Game 3 is back at Varsity Arena, this Sunday, February 28. Puck drop is set for 4 p.m. Advance tickets are on sale here. The game will also be streamed live on OUA.tv.

Fifth-year forward Jessie Hurrell scored the game's lone goal 5:12 into the first overtime period. With the Hawks on the man advantage, Hurrell pounced on a rebound and fired it top shelf for the winner.

First-year Blues netminder Valencia Yordanov made 20 saves in the loss.

Toronto took Game 1 of the series, 3-2 in overtime, on Wednesday night.
