The University of Toronto Varsity Blues defeated the McMaster Marauders 12-2 to claim the first-ever National Collegiate Water Polo (NCWP) title on Sunday morning (Nov. 27) in Kingston, Ont.
 
The Blues earned a spot in the championship final with a dominant 16-7 victory over the host Queen's Gaels on Saturday.
 
It marks Toronto's fourth straight provincial title, after claiming the last three OUA banners.
 
Second-year standout Megan MacCormac earned NCWP tournament MVP honours after leading all players with three goals, while Emily Kelvin-Davies, Ana Miroslavic and Kassie Fraser each scored twice. Alexandra Kraft, Madelyn Hertz and Rhianna Wood all added single tallies in the victory.
 
MacCormac, as well as Kraft and Miroslavic were also named NCWP all-stars.
