WOMEN’S HOCKEY CAN’T SOLVE PASCAL

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's hockey team fell 2-0 to the Queen's Gaels on  Saturday, October 29 at Kingston Memorial Centre.
 
With the loss, U of T drops to 2-0-3-0 to start the season.
 
Third-year forward Addi Halladay scored both goals for the Gaels. After a scoreless first period, Halladay scored on the powerplay midway through the second frame and added an insurance marker late in the period.
 
Megan Farrell added an empty-netter with 1:03 remaining to round out the scoring.  
 
Sophomore Gaels netminder Stephanie Pascal made 17 saves in the shut out victory, while Blues goalie Valencia Yordanov posted 30 saves in the loss.
 
The Blues are back in action next Saturday, November 5 as they host the Windsor Lancers at Varsity Arena. Advance tickets are on sale here. The puck drops at 3 p.m.
