The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's lacrosse team defeated the McMaster Marauders 11-8 on Friday, October 14 in Hamilton, Ont.
 
Tied 2-2 after the first quarter, the Marauders pulled ahead and held a 6-4 lead at halftime.
 
The Blues scored two quick goals to even the game once again, but McMaster took a narrow 7-6 lead into the final frame.
 
That was when U of T took over as Marc Santos and AJ Masson each tallied two, with Mitch de Snoo adding one en route to the victory.
 
The Varsity Blues are back in action this Sunday afternoon (Oct. 16) as they head to St. Catharines, Ont., to take on the Brock Badgers. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
