The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's rugby team dropped a 67-3 decision to the McMaster Marauders in their 2015 home opener on Saturday evening (Sept. 12) at Varsity Centre.

McMaster got out to an early 14-0 lead thanks to a try and two conversions from James Leveridge as well as a try from Richard Ormrod.

U of T got on the board in the 32nd minute when Tudor Chirila kicked a penalty goal. The Marauders carried a 21-3 lead into halftime.

The Varsity Blues are back at it next Saturday, September 19 when they travel to St. Catharines, Ont., to take on the Brock Badgers. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
