BLUES FALL TO GRYPHS IN GAME 3

Box Score The University of Toronto Varsity Blues women's hockey team dropped a 2-0 decision to the Guelph Gryphons in Game 3 of the OUA semifinal series on Sunday afternoon in Guelph, Ont.

With the loss, Toronto's season comes to an end in the semifinal round for the second straight year. The Gryphons advance to the OUA final, where they will face the top seeded Western Mustangs next Saturday in a single-game banner match. Both Guelph and Western will represent the OUA at the 2015 CIS women's hockey championship, March 12-15, in Calgary.

Guelph opened the scoring early in the second period and added an empty net goal in the final minutes of the game to secure the 2-0 win. Blues netminder Nicole Kesteris posted 18 saves in her final game as a Varsity Blue.
