BLUES BOOK TICKET TO OUA FINAL WITH DOMINANT WIN

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's water polo team will have a chance to defend their title as they defeated the host McMaster Marauders 17-6 in semi-final action on Day 2 of the OUA championship in Hamilton, Ont.

The Blues advance to their eighth consecutive OUA final and will take on the Carleton Ravens as they vie for their 10th title in the last 14 years. The two teams will battle for gold tomorrow at 2:40 p.m.

The Ravens booked their ticket to the final with a narrow 9-7 victory over the Ottawa Gee-Gees in the first semifinal of the day.

The offence was well balanced with scoring coming from eight different Blues. Abdelrahman Said led the charge with four goals, followed by Emre Tali who added three of his own.

Sukhmun Hare, Euan Scoffield, Adam Klc and Matthew Hart each contributed two goals, while Mike Chapman and Daniel Ugray rounded out the scoring with one goal apiece.

Emirhan Ozdemir and Houman Hajimohammadi shared goalie duties and both put on solid performances
