Atkinson currently ranks ninth in the OUA with 16.0 points per game.
Toronto will be out for revenge after a season-opening loss at Ryerson. The Blues are 2-3 and will look to end the first half of the season at .500. The No. 4 Rams are 4-1 and tied for the top spot in the East division.
The game also marks the second of a home-and-home in the BIA Cup series. Last year,The Harbord Street Business Improvement Area (BIA) partnered with the Toronto Association of Business Improvement Areas (TABIA), which represents 78 local BIAs and over 35,000 local businesses, to foster a cross-town basketball rivalry between U of T and Ryerson by creating the BIA Cup, which will be presented at the conclusion of Saturday night's contest.
Â
The official BIA Cup has been created with a portion of steel cladding from the Goldring Centre and a piece of concrete from what was once centre ice at Maple Leaf Gardens.
