BLUES BLANKED BY BISON

The University of Toronto Varsity Blues men's hockey team dropped a 4-0 decision to the Manitoba Bisons on Friday, September 19 at Varsity Arena.
 
Justin Augert opened the scoring 9:02 into the first period, notching the eventual game-winner. Manitoba led 1-0 after the first period.
 
Luke Paulsen added a powerplay goal early in the second period and Brendan Rowinski put the visiting team up by three just over three minutes later.
 
Jesse Paradis rounded out the scoring with a goal 8:23 into the third period.
 
Blues goalie Garrett Sheehan made 33 saves, while Manitoba's Deven Dubyk posted 25 stops in the shut out win.
 
The two teams meet again tomorrow night, as the Blues host the Bisons at Varsity Arena at 7:30 p.m.
