The Varsity Blues women’s lacrosse team fell 14-5 to the Queen’s Gaels and 13-0 to the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday, September 22 in Kingston, Ont.
 
Second-year middie Katie McCurdy (Orillia, Ont.) led the Blues with two goals versus Queen’s. Kelly Robinson (Mississauga, Ont.), Susan Tung (Peterborough, Ont.) and Kaitlyn Sandy also scored in the loss.
 
The Blues ran into a tough squad from Guelph and were unable to find the back of the net.  
 
The Varsity Blues return to action this Saturday, September 29 as they head to Guelph for a rematch with the Queen’s Gaels and their first game versus the UOIT Ridgebacks.
