Tyler Weber’s four goal performance led the Varsity Blues men’s lacrosse team to a 12-6 victory over the Carleton Ravens on Saturday, September 17 at Raven’s Road Field.
The Blues win is their first of the season and are now 1-1 in a tie with Carleton for third place in the East.
Weber put up five points in the win, including two goals on the power play. The Toronto native now has nine points (seven goals, two assists) in the first two games of the season. Daniel Fleming (Toronto) also had a five-point game to tie Weber for the team lead with nine points on the season.
The Blues offensive outburst saw midfielder MarcAnthony Koukoulas (Boston, Mass.) register his first four points of the season, including the eventual game-winning goal at 5:57 of the second quarter.
The Blues outscored the Ravens 9-4 in the second and third quarters to secure the victory. Goaltender Andrew Clair (Toronto) earned the win in his first game of the season.

The Blues return to action this Saturday, September 24 when they travel to Kingston, Ont., to take on the Queen’s Gaels. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
